Vandomotorsports Tech Tip
Have you replace your master clutch cylinder and your slave cylinder yet.
If not your in for a weekend of work and the last part of the project is the worst - bleeding the system. Well I found
a great site that will put the fun into bleeding the clutch system and I mofified the process to make it even easier.
After you have completed the project according to the manual and you have bleeded the break system,
it is now time to bleed the clutch system. Here is what you do. Go pick up a second qt of break fluid and a Fluid
quart pump that has a clear plastic tube at your Pep Boys or Auto Zone. First using a baster, take some fluid out of the
reservoir. Simply screw the pump onto the qt of break fluid and using your rubber bleeding tip, connect the other end to the
bleeder screw. Open the bleeder screw and manually pump the break fluid UP the line to the reservoir. It
should not take to many pumps and wamo your ready to goand be sure to close the bleeder screw. Also be sure to check
your fulid when replacing the fluid cap. It took me no time at all to complete the project and I was back on the
track..
Good luck and send me an email with any great tips that you would like to share.

A lot of work and been done on the Porsche including we purchased a new engine and it just arrived
from LA. We have upgraded the exhaust system, new performance radiator and all new hoses, put in a cold air intake,
new shocks on the rear, all new high performace tires and alot more is planned...stay tuned. Prior to receiving our new
Porsche we did extensive upgrading to the garage including the floor, shop area, added some new equipment, tools and heating
system. The Saturn SC2 with driver CB Vandenburgh is also being upgraded with suspension and larger off set wheels and tires
for better grip. We completed our first events and CB placed 3rd in DSP with SCCA and we had a blast at NHIS with SCDA and
I had the opportunity for some driving lessons on the road course with Travis Hopwell the top driver from Turner Motorsports
BMW racing.
Below is a recap of the 2006 season and we hope to better our results in 2007. Member of the
PCA Club.
- Vandomotorsports with CB's SC2 places second in points in SCCA DSP Class in the NER Region right behind
Mike Shields who won the 2006 National Tour event.
- Vandomotorsports finishes 5th with the SL2 in the SCCA Devins National tour.
- Vandomotorsports with CB SC2 finished in the top 20, placing 17th at the Tire Rack SCCA
Nationals in Topeka KS
- Vandomotorsports takes 4th place with the SC2 in the Tire Warehouse SCCNH 2nd Annual North Country
